As the work started in Bodrog, the Menedék staff felt the importance of establishing a church to provide a spiritual basis for the ministry, and fellowship for the staff. The Bodrog Baptist Church was founded in 1989. Its members come from different Christian denominations.

 The aim of the churhc is to live according to the teaching of the Bible, to provide loving fellowship for its members and to preach the gospel, telling the people in our neighbourhood that the Lord is good.

For years held our services, which are open for anyone to attend, in the mansion, and as the church grew, the hall was not big enough anymore. In spring 2006 our fellowship decided to join the construction of the Bodrog Educational Centre as a co-owner. Since 8^th December 2007 our church has been worshipping in the new building. We often organise film screenings and musical events. The Kindergarten, the School and the Music School hold the opening and closing ceremony of the academic year together in the form of a church service.
